I kept those fantasies locked up inside of me, pulling them out whenever the desire arose. When the sex wasn't all that great. When I was bored with what was happening.
The fantasy world saved me from feeling like there was
something wrong with me, that I was not enjoying the sex.
Those fantasies started showing up more and more in my sex life, because I was calling in lovers that were not fulfilling for me. Instead of talking with them, showing them what does work... I endured, suffered and got through it by disconnecting from them and going into my fantasy world.
Let me tell you, that is no way to enjoy the incredible pleasure that can happen in sexual union, nor create
deeper connections.
UNTIL I made the decision to change ...
