Yoni is a Sanskrit word that refers to a woman’s vulva. I personally love the translation “Cave of Wonder”. Doesn't that just sound intriguing?

 

Women have used egg-shaped stones to experience, explore and expand their wisdom of this intimate area of their body for centuries.  It was originally called the Jade Egg practice and was developed in ancient China about 2000 years ago. This practice was primarily for the concubines of the emperor and the royal family, as it is thought to bring about health, vitality and enhance feminine sexual energies.

 

The practices include squeezing, relaxing and pushing of the pelvic floor muscles. The pelvic floor muscles are the muscles that hold our organs in place and are responsible for the elimination systems of the body.

By keeping them healthy and toned, they function more proficiently and bring more confidence as well as pleasure to women.

 

 

The yoni egg practices help women discover more sensations within their vagina, develop a unique skill set that allows them to feel more pleasure and brings more awareness to the beauty of being an embodied woman who embraces her creative life-force energy-- her sexual energies.

Over the years the Jade Egg practice evolved and now we are seeing other crystals, besides jade, being used. Crystals such as rose quartz, obsidian, rhodonite, amethyst, jasper… I love that we are exploring more with other crystals and find each crystal has its own unique healing qualities.

 

 

When choosing an egg, I recommend connecting with the womb wisdom that resides within you. Asking your higher-self, which egg is best for you at this moment. Your higher-self will always guide you on the most perfect journey, the key is to listen.

 

This can be done in person or with a surrogate. I have developed an online technique to weave our energies together.
