Full Moon in Scorpio April 23rd

This month's full moon known as the Pink Moon was named after the herb moss pink, creeping phlox, moss phlox or mountain phylox. 

 Have you ever sat outside and just gazed at the moon?  Being quiet in the mind, taking big deep breaths, feeling the sensations--it is an extraordinary experiment to explore with yourself, with your lover, with you kids, with your pets.... be wild and howl tonight, tomorrow night and the following night. 

I invite you to take a moment in your evening, go outside and gaze at the moon. Let yourself receive, notice what you do receive, what you are willing to receive and what you are not willing to receive.

And now for this month's full moon ritual. Since this moon represents change, truth, resilience, inspiration and ultimately transformation. Instead of allowing it to control you, I invite you to take the initiatives to choose your destiny. All too often people buy into the stories that they are being controlled by outside influences and events. 

What if you were in control? 

Because ultimately you are. 

Take a deep breath in, close your eyes and feel into your own body. 

Do you feel your heartbeat? 

Find one spot in your body where you feel your pulse? 

This is life. Your life. 

What do you truly desire in this very moment? Be specific.

 What will it feel like to have this desire? Be specific

Who will you be when you have this desire? Be specific

Remember the more specific and detailed you are, the more you can attach to the result. 

Write it all out. 

Create a vision board if you like. 

Now place this in an envelope. Seal it with a kiss-- put lipstick on if you like- hold it to your heart, allow yourself to connect with your intentions. Place this on your alter until your full moon Sex Magic Ceremony tomorrow night. 

Ready for the next piece? 

 Of course you are, you are willing to make those changes to get the results you truly desire, right?


What is holding you back from this desire? Be radically honest with yourself. What is really, really holding you back? Be specific, really specific. 

Write this all out in the greatest detail. If you truly want your desire, why not do this practice? 

Now this place this into another envelope. Close, not seal, the envelope with a kiss, thank yourself for your honesty and really feel it as you release your resistance. Is there any residue of resistance? Be honest, this is what takes you to the next level. When you find it, write it out and put it in this envelope. All your resistance, the resistance that you can identify is now in the envelope. Put this envelope under your pillow and sleep on in. Perhaps you will find another layer of resistance in your dreams, or in the shower, or driving... whenever resistance shows up. Write it all out and place it in the envelope. 

Remember If you didn't have resistance, you would have what you truly desire. You are the master of your destiny, your life. You are creating the reality that you live. 

At the fire ceremony tomorrow night, or on your own, take this envelope with all your resistance in it. Seal it with a kiss, again thank yourself for the honesty and feel your feelings. Often times when we release resistance, their is a sadness, a grief that shows up. Allow yourself to feel that as it is a death of the old you. The you that resisted change and transformation. 

This envelope will be thrown into the fire, or you can burn it or bury it. Release your resistance. Embrace the emptiness that comes, feel your feelings. 

After the fire ceremony, under the light of the moon. Create a sacred space for you to engage in Sex Magic. Bring your desire envelope to this space, close your eyes and remember those words you wrote, remember the feelings, the sensations. Visualize the you that has your desire, that is YOU. 

Begin your Sex Magic ritual, afterwards put a drop or two of the fluids onto the envelope and envision your desires as they become your realities. Place the envelope on your altar until the New Moon Ritual.
